Next Steps South West launch resources to help young people realise their potential

Next Steps South West (SW) is a consortium of universities and colleges across the South West awarded government funding to inspire young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to progress to higher education. Industry professionals have identified the need for such a project, and the gap between aspirations and achievement.

Four local firms team up to support YMCA Exeter at the Great West Run

On Sunday 15th October, running enthusiasts from around the county will be taking part in the infamous Great West Run - an exciting 13.1 mile route taking runners through the heart of Exeter city centre.

This year, four local businesses, Attention Media, Burrington Estates, Wilkinson Grant & Co and Expedite, are rallying together to become the ultimate running dream team, collectively raising money for YMCA Exeter at the Great West Run.

Force / Bike Shed Autumn Cycle Series

On Sunday 1st October, Bike Shed and Force Cancer Charity are joining forces to bring the Autumn Series to Devon.

The Autumn Series is a cycle sportive starting and finishing at Broadclyst Community Primary School, with two routes covering 30 and 55 miles respectively.

A local company who raise funds for a children’s cancer charity have teamed up with Exeter Chiefs to make a day to remember for local families who have been affected by cancer.

Barratt Homes staff complete charity skydive

Staff from Barratt Homes in Exeter have completed one of their most ambitious charity challenges – a skydive over the South Devon countryside.

Thirteen brave souls from the housebuilder’s regional division in Exeter completed the challenge to raise money for the Exeter Foundation.
