Our resident dragon Dolbury has been busy hiding dragon eggs around the outdoors. We're calling on Eggsplorers to help us find them all. Keep your eyes peeled as you run through towering trees, skip along crunchy gravel paths and stop off to sniff the spring blooms. Along the way, escape the beaten track to explore hidden gems like the bear's hut, ice house and chapel. When you've found them all and solved Dolbury's riddle, enjoy your tasty Cadbury chocolate Egghead prize.

Tiverton - Guided Walk in the Woods followed by lunch. Event is organized by the Bulworthy Project Explore the woods guided by a charcoal maker who lives and works within the woodland.
We forage much of our food from our land. During the walk you will identify various plants and fungi and learn about how we use them in food and wine making. Our woodland is primarily managed for habitats and this is made financially viable through making charcoal. Join Chris Watson on a dawn chorus walk on the edge of Dartmoor and see the world with your ears.
The walk starts in the dark and will involve uneven surfaces. It is not suitable for young children or those with limited mobility. Details of when and where to meet and what to wear and bring will be sent to ticket holders after booking.

A chance to hear Chris Watson in conversation with RSPB’s Tony Whitehead and chaired by Cheryl Tipp from the British Library Sound Archive.
Discussion will focus around the art, practice and challenges of wildlife sound recording, the value of sound in connecting people with nature, and the changing nature of our sound environment. Spend a morning, afternoon or even all day with members of Poltimore Estate Research Society as they explain their discoveries regarding the people and houses of the village in the early 20th century.
The morning session offers displays and short talks from 10.30am-12.30pm.
Refreshments will be available to buy from the Cafe between Sessions, including Soup & Roll, Pasties and Sandwiches to order
Meet in the Chapel for the afternoon session which will involve a short, guided walk around the village and wider estate from 1.30pm-4pm.
There is much rhetoric flung about these days by supporters and denigrators of William Shakespeare. Did he write the plays and poems that bear his name – or were they the work of another Renaissance genius, such as Marlowe or Bacon? Or was it the Earl of Oxford? Or a whole committee of intellectuals?
Such is the range of possible authorships put forward that members of the public can be forgiven for being bewildered. Why is there so much doubt when the first folio of Shakespeare’s works clearly has his name on the cover?
