2015 has been another fantastic year for Crediton based agents, Helmores, and now a national award sees them crowned Best Single Office Estate Agency in the South West at The Sunday Times Estate Agency of the Year Awards - for the third time.

On Saturday 5 December naturalist and TV presenter Nick Baker attended an award ceremony for the first group of teenagers to complete the Dartmoor National Park Junior Ranger programme. Nick’s inspirational talk on his life’s journey with wildlife set the scene for the Awards in which all 12 Junior Rangers' achievements were celebrated.

Local sportspeople, clubs and volunteers have been celebrating their success at Teignbridge Council’s annual Sports Personality of the Year Awards, which saw ultra runner Kevin Carr, crowned overall Teignbridge Sports Personality of the Year.

30 November 2015. Rydon Farm Bed and Breakfast in Woodbury, near Exeter, was delighted to receive a Gold Award at the Devon Tourism Awards held at The Holiday Inn, Plymouth on 26 November.

Exeter scoops award for solar car ports

An initiative to install the UK's first solar panel car ports in two Exeter car parks has won an environmental award for Exeter City Council.

The City Council scooped The Most Sustainable Public Sector Project - Innovation Award at the Public Sector Sustainability Awards in London.
