Changes to Stagecoach bus services in Devon

Stagecoach South West announced today that, starting 29 May, there will be a number of changes to bus routes on its Torbay network, including faster journey times, more connections and new destinations.

The Hop11 will be merged into the 22, which will be rebranded Hop22. Stagecoach extends discount for young people

Young people across the UK will to continue to benefit from lower bus fares after Stagecoach extended a national offer.

Following the successful introduction of a £2 Dayrider ticket for under 19s, the offer has been extended for a further six weeks to allow young people to benefit over the Easter period. South West regional coach service goes live

Stagecoach South West has launched the South West Falcon - the first dedicated 24/7 coach service connecting major locations across the South West.

Last week roadshows were held across the region giving people in Exeter, Taunton and Bristol the chance to find out more about the Falcon.

Stagecoach extends Gold route 57 sale

Stagecoach South West has announced that, due to popular demand, it is extending its sale on tickets for the luxury Stagecoach Gold route 57 until the end of February.

The sale started on 3rd January 2016, with a number of fares slashed, offering discounts of up to 38% on single, return and weekly tickets. These include returns between Exeter and Exmouth reduced to £5.50 (saving 25%) and the introduction of a 1 week Routerider for £20, valid for unlimited travel along the entire 57 route (saving 23%*).

Thousands of young people across Devon are to benefit from a new offer by Stagecoach South West that will help cut the cost of their bus travel.

For a 5 week period (23 January to 29 February 2016) the bus company will slash the cost of existing child Dayrider tickets in Exeter, Plymouth and Dartmouth to just £2 whilst also introducing new £2 child Dayriders for their Exmouth, Newton Abbot and Barnstaple ticket zones.

Outline planning permission was granted last night (Wednesday 20 January) for the redevelopment of Exeter Bus & Coach Station.

The site in Paris Street is to be demolished to provide a new bus station, retail/leisure mixed use development and Leisure Centre.
