Stagecoach Service update for 24th November

Stagecoach is currently reporting the following disruptions:

Service 380 unable to serve Gittisham

Service 39 is now operating it's normal route

Service 1 is unable to serve Sampford Peverall

All other services operating normal routes.

This morning's updates for Stagecoach services

Service Update:

Exeter City & rural services

Hele Road is now open again therefore our H, 51, 55B, 56 and 315 services are returning to their normal routes.

57 service is now able to operate the full route.

We have been advised this closure is likely to be all day.

Early morning welcome at Exeter bus station

An 80 year old friend insisted on a journey from Madrid to Exeter via Bristol airport, arriving in Exeter at 4 am today. A taxi was booked for her, but she needed to get to it across the road. Unbidden, an employee at the bus station asked her how she was getting home and escorted her and her luggage across to the waiting Gemini taxi. Yes, I know that is what should happen - but well done to the often maligned bus station staff for looking after her so well.

Stagecoach SW services suspended as heavy snowfall continues

Buses have been cancelled as heavy snowfall continues to cause problems on roads across Devon.

A statement from Stagecoach South West said:

In consultation with Devon & Cornwall Police we can now confirm that as weather conditions have deteriorated we will not be operating the following services for the remainder of the day:

  • The South West Falcon, operating between Devon, Somerset and Bristol with exception as shown below
  • All services operating out of our Exeter depot
  • The majority of services operating out of our Torquay depot with
