The National Trust Exeter and District Centre are holding their annual Christmas Concert on Tuesday 9 December at Exeter Cathedral.
The centre plays a vital role promoting the work of the charity in the local area and raises money through all kinds of events for conservation and development projects. Staff and volunteers at Lydford Gorge are organising a Winter Fayre on Sunday 30 November between 11am and 3pm, to encourage shoppers to buy local produce and gifts for the forthcoming Christmas season.
Sarah Hortop, Retail Manager at Lydford Gorge, says: "It’s very exciting – I have worked at Lydford Gorge for 27 years and this is the first time we have held an event like this. East Devon District Council is once again supporting local shops over Christmas with a range of special car park deals for motorists, including a chance to win a ‘Golden Ticket’ offering three months’ free parking for up to 24 lucky motorists.
