Woman rushed to RD&E after Tiverton collision

A woman has been rushed to RD&E hospital following a serious collision near Tiverton. Emergency services were called to the scene, near Tiverton Golf Club, at 8:37am this morning (Tuesday 27 May). Two vehicles were involved in the collision one of which had left the road and overturned in a field. One casualty was taken by ambulance to RD&E hospitial to be treated for head and chest injuries. Post Hill is currently closed in both directions between the Uplowman Road junction and the Crown Hill junction. A male casualty was treated for injuries at the scene.

The family of a Honiton man who died in a motorcycle accident this weekend has paid tribute to his memory today. Andrew Bonetta, 49, died after his motorcycle collided with a milk collection tanker at around 3.47 pm on Sunday (May 18.)

Exeter coach crash driver bailed

An Exeter man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a a coach hit a wall in Cornwall killing two female passengers. Emergency crews were called to the scene at around 1pm on Tuesday (13 May). The coach had been travelling on the A387 from the Plymouth direction towards Looe between Sandplace and Widegates when the incident occurred. It was operated by Carmel and police believe it was being used for a trip organised by Age Concern from Exmouth.

School Bus Crash leaves Driver in Hospital

A woman suffered serious injuries after a road traffic collision involving a school minibus and a van in Holsworthy yesterday afternoon. (25 March)

None of the 15 Children on the minibus, from Holsworthy Community College, received any serious injuries in the crash.

A statement on the schools' website says "pupils suffered minor injuries and shock and were given first aid in school." but "No pupils have suffered serious injury."

The two vehicles collided at the crossroad at around 3.45pm, both vehicles left road and came to rest in a property adjacent to the road...

Update: A 45-year-old woman from Axminister has died after being involved in a serious road traffic collision at 7:45 am this morning.

Witness appeal for fatal collison near Totnes

Police are appealing for witnesses of a fatal collision near Totnes on the Friday 14th February. Richard Golborn, a 47-year-old man from Plymouth, was travelling on the A385 from Totnes to Avonwick when at around 2pm his car, a black Ford Focus, left the road and collided with a tree. Members of the public stopped and assisted with first aid for Mr Golbron but his injuries tragically proved to be fatal. Man with suspected spinal injuries after A303 crash

A man has been taken to Wonford hospital with suspected spinal injuries after his car overturned on the A303 near Honiton this morning. Emergency services were called to the scene shortly before 7am this morning (15 January) due to the accident involving two vehicles. Fire crews attended the accident and used hydraulic cutting gear to free the man, thought to be aged between 20-30, from a veichle on its side. Update: Eldery woman hit by Car

Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was injured in a collision involving a blue BMW.

The collision took place on 02 January 2014 at 12:40pm.

Police have said the collision occurred when the woman crossed Jubilee Drive from Barrowdale Close in Exmouth.

The woman is local and 81-years-old.

She was taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was re-opened on 02 January 2014 at 6pm.

An elderly woman has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a road traffic collision in Exmouth earlier today, Thursday, (2 January). The collision took place at around 12.40pm on Barrowdale close, Brixington and involved the woman and a blue BMW car. The woman has been taken to the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. The road has been closed at its junction with Jubilee Drive and is not expected to be re-opened for some time.
