Tesla Motors brings supercharging to Exeter

Tesla Motors, manufacturer of the award-winning Model S electric saloon, has expanded its Supercharger network with the opening of a Supercharger station in Exeter.

Conveniently located off junction 30 of the M5, the Exeter Supercharger will be an integral component of UK routes and, along with the Bristol Supercharger, allows Model S owners to travel to and around the South West for free with Supercharger-enabled Model S.

Exeter is the latest location to join the world’s largest fast-charging network.

Spookley The Square Pumpin

Discover the story of Spookley, a square pumpkin in a round pumpkin world. This anti-bullying tale provides the perfect backdrop as we hunt around our very own pumpkin patch.

Compete with pumpkin decorating and treats, our Spookley afternoons are a great way to keep the kids entertained during half term.

Suitable for children aged 4-12. Parents are welcome to say with their children.

If you go along to Darts Farm, even if you have been there lots of times before, you could get lost, but it’s all in the name of Charity!

The fantastic team at Darts Farm have once again put together their fabulous Maize Maze to raise funds for Devon Air Ambulance Trust.

Caroline Creer, Fundraising Director of Devon Air Ambulance Trust said “We are delighted to be working once again with the Darts Farm team and the maize maze is such a great fun way to raise funds for the Charity and a cost effective way to keep the kids busy for an hour or two during the Summer holidays....

Tips for holiday cottage businesses

As the summer holiday trade begins in earnest, owners of furnished holiday lettings are invited to a seminar at Darts Farm in Topsham on Wednesday 16 July to hear some top tips from a panel of experts.

Topics at the seminar which is jointly hosted by chartered accountants Francis Clark and property agents Stags will include an update on topical tax issues for holiday lettings including capital allowances, relief for borrowing costs and a VAT update presented by former tax writer of the year John Endacott.

National award for Devon cider retailer

A Devon based cider maker is celebrating its silver jubilee year in style after winning a national retailing award.

The Green Valley Cyder Barn and Ale House retail outlet based at Dart’s Farm at Topsham near Exeter has won the nationally recognized Drinks Retailing Award for Independent Cider Retailer of the Year 2014.

The Cyder Barn has grown from a small outdoor unit selling only cider pressed on site and made only from Devon apples to a large in-store retail outlet stocking 180 ciders and perrys from the UK and across Europe. It is now probably the largest retailer of...

Put on your best Halloween fancy dress and join Darts Farm for their Halloween party in the haunted Tepees. Take part in spooky games and fun activities. Pick your free pumpkin fresh from the Darts Farm field and enter it into the pumpkin carving competition and prepare yourself for lots of treats, a delicious sausage and mash supper and marshmallow toasting!

Spookley at Darts Farm

Meet Spookley, a square pumpkin in a round pumpkin patch world at Darts Farm this October.

Children aged four to 12 are invited to spend a fun-filled afternoon on the farm, learning about pumpkin growing and enjoying the story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin, who overcomes bullying through showing kindness to others and making new friends along the way. As you take a walk around the pumpkin patch, children can pick their own pumpkins to decorate in the Darts Farm Teepees and enjoy a range of pumpkin treats and refreshments.

Sunflowers help raise funds for Hospiscare at Darts Farm

Each year Darts Farm in Topsham grows a beautiful field of sunflowers for customers to pick in return for a donation to Hospiscare. This year the fantastic weather has made for a bumper crop, allowing Darts Farm to raise more money than ever before for the local charity.

So far, over £2,600 has been raised for Hospiscare and there are still plenty of sunflowers left for people to pick or to buy in store. For a map of the farm and instructions on how to pick your own, please visit the farm shop.

Once the sunflowers die down, they are left in the field as feed for local birds...
