Over 70 decision makers from the local business community attended the autumn Business Networking (SW) lunch held at The Lord Haldon Hotel, Dunchideock. Guests were welcomed with a glass of wine and enjoyed a two-course sit-down lunch followed by a presentation from Chris Wood of Q Social Media Limited. On the night, participants will undergo a two hour training session to prepare them for the challenge of stepping onto embers burning at around 1200 degrees Fahrenheit.

The fourth Teddy Bear Parachute Jump event is taking place in the grounds of Exeter Cathedral on Saturday 13 October, 11am–3pm.
The Rotary Clubs of Exeter have organised the event with the permission of the Cathedral authorities and the proceeds will be divided between The Exeter Cathedral Third Millennium Campaign and The Bramble Ward which is the children's ward at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital.
