Kyle Edwards joins Exeter City on loan from West Brom

Exeter City have signed West Brom forward Kyle Edwards on loan until January.

The 19-year-old is highly-rated at the Hawthorns and was named on the bench for the Baggies League Cup tie at Norwich City in September 2015.

Kyle has featured for Albion’s Premier League 2 side on many occasions producing a string of impressive performances including at Middlesbrough where he curled home a stunning strike.

Exeter City have signed West Bromwich Albion’s right-back Kane Wilson on loan until January, subject to Premier League approval. Wilson, who has represented England at under-16 and under-17 level, is currently away on duty for his country and will link up with the Exeter City squad next week. The 17-year-old comes to St James Park with a growing reputation having made his debut for West Brom in the EFL Cup last season and also played two games for the club in EFL Trophy last campaign.

Striker Ryan Brunt has put pen to paper on a permanent contract at Exeter City. Brunt, 24, has been training with the Grecians during pre-season and has impressed manager Paul Tisdale enough to earn a contract at the club. Brunt, who started his career off at Stoke City, has not played a competitive match for 16 months having suffered a serious knee injury playing for Plymouth Argyle in a match against Barnet in March 2016.
