Manic Chord Theatre's production of 'After What Comes Before' at the Bike Shed Theatre last Monday (17th March), was a real treat for the senses, leaving the audience in fits of laughter from start to finish.
The story follows a Neuroscientist, Psychologist and Physicist as they try to create a machine which can extract thoughts. Highly energetic and playful, the company submerged the audience in a mad world of Quantum partying, flying cashew nuts and absurd game play. Surprising twists in the tale kept our attention firmly on the three confident young men on stage as they took us...
This Monday (9th December) saw a wonderfully festive celebration in St James' Park.
It promised to be one of the UK’s biggest carol services, transforming the home of Exeter’s football club into a hub of festive cheer.
The stadium filled up in a matter of minutes, as more than 3,500 locals and students flocked to sing a selection of traditional carols and hear about the meaning of Christmas. It was a real joy to see so many people, of all ages, wrapped up and enjoying themselves (and the free mince pies)!
The concert marked the 10th anniversary of the Evangelical...

Highlights of the evening will include plenty of classic carols, mulled wine, and a talk on the Christmas message. There will also be free mince pies!

The following year, the current cap on student numbers will be abolished entirely. He told the Commons that: “it makes no sense that we have a lower proportion of people going to university than the United States, let alone...

The play is a Salisbury Playhouse Production, originally written by George Farquahar and produced by Gareth Minchin, also a member of the cast.
Described as “a regional theatre with all guns blazing” by the Daily Telegraph, the Salisbury Playhouse puts on a raucous and wonderfully English comedy of bawdiness, disastrous sexual exploits and meddling servants. As well as a beautifully designed and...
