As the first Honiton Sausage & Cider Festival draws nearer, the call is out for East Devon cider fans and businesses to lend a helping hand.
Ticket sales for the festival, on May 3 are going really well and the music line-up continues to grow with Diamondogz, Sweet Black Angels, Fools and Horses, Ollie Bowern and headliners The Wurzels all confirmed and more to come.
Trade stalls and food and drink stands are booking up nicely and with lots going on for all the family this promises to be a great day.

The Bordeaux Boys, AKA Steve Bulmer, Dan Fleming, Nick Kirby, James Osbent and Chris Sayer, are leaving their busy schedules behind for seven days to raise money for the charity Balloons.
On Friday 4 April the boys will cycle a total of 600 miles, from Exeter to Bordeaux, to raise money for the local charity.
Balloons provides free community-based support for children, young people and their families living in Exeter, Mid and East Devon, following the death, or before an expected death, of a significant person in their lives, such as a parent, carer or sibling.
This Saturday (29 March) Headway Devon are hosting a fun-filled Zumba Party at Riverside Leisure Centre in Exeter to raise money for local people with brain injuries!

On Thursday 3 April, Devon-based law firm Gilbert Stephens LLP will once again play host to the Great Devon Breakfast in aid of local cancer charity, FORCE.
The Great Devon Breakfast last year raised £10,000 across 17 different venues and the event, supported by Gilbert Stephens LLP, will be held at St Olaves Hotel located on Mary Arches Street, Exeter, at 8am. Breakfast costs just £8 and includes a full English with tea or coffee and organisers hope it will help raise around £500 for the local charity.

Volunteer RNLI lifeboat crew members from Exmouth, Max Champion, Stephen Satchell, Paul Fox, Lee Manning, Neil Cannon and Hedley Saunders completed a 32 mile cycle from Supacat in Dunkeswell to Exmouth RNLI lifeboat station on Saturday (25 January) to raise funds towards the new launch and recovery vehicle needed for the Exmouth’s new Shannon class lifeboat. Devon Freewheelers has unveiled its latest fundraising scheme – a competition to win a trolley dash at the Tesco store in Honiton!
The prizewinner will have 60 seconds to sprint along the aisles and fill their trolley with food produce only, up to the value of £200.
