A day-long conference at Exeter University will discuss some of the difficult issues related to mental health problems at work and how organisations can create positive mental wellbeing in the workplace.

The ‘Good Work and Mental Well-Being Lab’ will review Macmillan Cancer Support and Exeter University’s approach to mental health in the workplace. It will also discuss the latest research on management interventions to support mental health and how this is influencing practice in Cornwall Council.

Devon County Council and the Open Innovation Project are inviting ambitious Devon entrepreneurs to apply for just 12 places on their Game Change programme.

This unique workshop is FREE to attend and will be held at Exeter Library on 28, 29 January and 5 February.

Regional Innovation funding boost for Devon projects

Innovative projects in Devon and Cornwall will receive a share of a £2.5m fund to help change patients’ lives and improve care through innovation.

A total of eight projects in the area were announced as winners of the NHS England’s Regional Innovation Fund which was launched in April to support and promote the adoption and spread of innovation across the NHS. It provides opportunities for clinicians to work in new ways driving innovation which can change patients’ lives.
