Parents and parents to be flocked to America hall in Pinhoe in search of some bargains at the mum2mum market.
More than 150 parents shopped for quality second hand baby and children’s goods. Children’s clothes, toys designer prams and nursery equipment were amongst the many bargains on offer. Some parents queued for over half an hour to make sure they got the pick of the bargains.
Mum2mum market provide local parents the opportunity to sell their outgrown baby and children’s goods to other parents and recoup some of the cost.
Sainsbury’s Pinhoe has marked a year of fundraising for their 2015 Charity of the Year, Rainbow Living, with the presentation of a cheque for £5,207.

An Exeter school and two others in the South West have received malicious calls, police have said this evening.
Although they were all hoaxes, officers are taking the incidents seriously.
A spokesman said: “We are aware that hoax calls have been made to a number of schools across the country today, and have been informed of malicious calls being made to three schools within Devon and Cornwall.

A collision on Pinhoe Road caused delays in Exeter on Monday evening (21 December).
The incident, involving a tractor and trailer, happened at around 5pm near Warwick Way.
One fire engine from Middlemoor was sent to deal with the incident.
Upon arrival, crews found a tractor and trailer involved in a collision, with a large amount of animal food spilt all over the highway and pavement.

Exeter City Councillor Simon Bowkett announced today (6 July) that he is to step down as councillor for the Pinhoe ward from immediate effect.
The resignation is likely to result in a by-election to fill the vacancy. Because there is a period of 10 months before all-out City Council elections in May, the local authority has to prepare for a by-election, provided at least two electors come forward. If the resignation had been after November, a by-election would not have been necessary.
