A contemporary new florist, Moka, has opened in Roman Walk in Princesshay.
Moka owner, Jonathan Murray, who already owns St Leonards Flowers on Magdalen Road, Exeter, brings this experience and success to his second city centre store.
Jonathan Murray explains, “Moka is a modern, stylish floristry offering distinctive ready-made and bespoke bouquets and plants with a very different feel to the country garden, village style of St Leonards Flowers. We are excited to be Princesshay’s only florist and to be bringing our offering into the heart of the city centre.”
Visit Exeter's Princesshay shopping centre every Monday in August and enjoy great deals and discounts when dining at restaurants and cafes in the area.
To celebrate the summer holidays, visitors and families to the centre can also enjoy playing giant summer games on a turfed green in the main square.

Coke, Diet Coke and Coke Zero bottles with 250 of the nation’s most popular names on them have been flying off the shelves this summer with people searching for their name on the iconic bottles.

The Princesshay team continues to support Land Securities’ national charity, the MS Society, by taking part in ‘Wig-ity-60’ on Friday 26 July. The national charity is marking its 60th anniversary this year with a Challenge60 campaign, which aims to raise £250,000 in 60 days to fund vital research.
Members of the Princesshay team wore bright orange wigs on Friday 26 July in an effort to raise awareness and money for the MS Society’s Challenge60 fundraising event. Security guards, car park attendants, cleaners and centre management staff all took part.
On Wednesday 19 June from 12.00-1.30pm, over 150 hand-made garments designed by Art and Design students from Exeter College will be modeled in a ‘pop up’ fashion show in Princesshay.
Featuring work from 82 Exeter College students, the performance will showcase local design talent modeled, choreographed and compered by dance and drama students from the College. Taking inspiration from artifacts and exhibitions from the Royal Albert Memorial Museum, shoppers can expect to see this theme throughout the collections on display.

Visitors to Princesshay experienced the start of the summer festival vibe on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 of June with dancers, singers and comedians performing throughout each day of the 2013 Dancing in the Streets Festival.
The festival opened with Vibes Dance Company’s rendition of Gentleman by PSY - the mastermind behind the Gangnam Style phenomenon. With over 40 dancers from the company performing in perfect timing and oozing energy.

The Princesshay Shopping Centre in Exeter has created a rooftop garden paradise for honey bees as part of a new environmental initiative championed and funded by landlord Land Securities. Forming part of a biodiversity strategy, one hive has recently been installed in the rooftop garden with another due to arrive in May and a third later in the year. The aim is to have five hives thriving in their new city location by the end of 2014. Princesshay is the first shopping centre in the Land Securities portfolio to launch a City Bee project.
