Cheque presented to QE School for reading and spelling programme

On Friday 28 October, at the Masonic Hall, Uffculme, Queen Elizabeth’s School in Crediton was presented with a cheque for £1,000 to be used to purchase licences for the Nessy reading and spelling computer programme.

CLIC for Christmas 2016 - final lineup revealed

Schools from Barnstaple and Plymouth have won a chance to perform in a major fundraising concert in Exeter Cathedral. The Park Community School and Devonport High School emerged victorious from the Devon Schools Choir Competition, run by La La Choirs at Southernhay URC on October 6. Exeter School pupils, parents and staff are enjoying visiting the Rainbow Rhino at Exeter’s Northcott Theatre.

The life-size juvenile rhino was decorated as part of The Great Big Rhino Project, a mass public art event which aims to raise awareness about conservation. Construction Consultants Haldons Ltd. present a cheque of £1000 to Combe Pafford in Torquay, a school which caters for pupils with learning and physical difficulties.

Bob the Builder visits Ladysmith Junior School

Children at Ladysmith Junior School in Exeter received a visit from Bob the Builder who talked to them about the build of their new school and the importance of site safety.
