Urban Burger launches new burgers in time for Father's Day

Join Urban Burger to celebrate this Father's Day with the addition of two new special burgers to the menu.

This weekend, Urban Burger presents the Big Daddy Burger and the Pace Maker. Whether pops likes the spice from hot smoked pulled pork and jalapeños, or the tang of a burnt apple BBQ sauce with his burger, both are sure to make your father's day one to remember.

Fancy a 'Beak Burger' ?

An English student at the University of Exeter has been announced as the winner of Urban Burger’s ‘What’s Your Beef’ competition.

Lucy Harrison has won £250 in Urban Burger vouchers and will see her ‘Ducking & Dive-in’ burger included on the menu at the gourmet burger restaurant on Queen Street, Exeter.

The competition saw contestants create and submit a variety of recipes, with the best four selected for the grand final by Urban Burger owners Melissa and Garth Pearse.

'What’s your beef' burger fans?

Exeter’s original burger restaurant, urbanburger, has today launched the ‘What’s your beef?’ competition inviting people to create the ultimate burger and win a place on the menu. Recipes will be judged by a panel of food experts with the winning burger being served up as part of urbanburger’s menu. The winner will also receive £250 worth of vouchers to spend at urbanburger and urban underground. Sparky wins free gourmet burgers for a year

Exeter’s original gourmet burger restaurant is celebrating selling its 60,000th meal by saying thank you to the customer who bought it.

Electrician Shane Howe took his girlfriend Amy Hudson to Urban Burger, on Queen Street for dinner.

And after being served his order, the 37-year-old was told he had just bought the 60,000th meal, and had won a free burger every month for a year.

Shane, who lives in Exeter, changed his booking time several times before coming in and, unwittingly, hitting the ‘landmark’ figure.

Brazil Burger Launched in Exeter

Exeter’s original gourmet burger restaurant has created a special Brazil feast to celebrate the football World Cup.

Only available during the World Cup at Urban Burger on Queen Street, each gourmet Brazil burger, priced at £7.95, comes with fries and a free soft drink.

And every time Brazil are playing in the tournament, the price drops £2 to just £5.95 - or stick to £7.95 with £2 donated to the Exeter Foundation, supporting a range of local charities including Hospice Care, Headway Devon and Exeter Samaritans.

On Saturday 7th June the South West Blogger Event will take place here in Exeter. The first major event of its kind to be held in the South West, it has been welcomed by local independent businesses throughout the city who are keen to make their mark amongst the UK blogging community.

Chiefs get their teeth into fundraising burgers!

Members of the Exeter Chiefs squad have already been showing their support to the Exeter Foundation, which is set to benefit every time someone tucks into a specially-made ‘Chiefs Burger’ at Urban Burger in the City Centre.

In a new incentive thought up by Urban Burger owner Garth and Melissa Pearse, the Foundation will benefit to the tune of 50p each time a customer orders the mouth-watering Chiefs Burger, which is made up of two 6oz prime Red Ruby Devon beef patties, bacon, fried onions, mayo and two slices of American cheese.
