Top 100 law firm Michelmores, today announces the rebranding of its existing Technology Media and Communications practice.
Headed up by Partner Tom Torkar, the new Technology & Innovation Team will be made up of an expanded group of experienced lawyers who will deliver innovative, joined-up solutions through a multi-disciplinary approach. Scouts in the Cullompton area have a new long term home thanks to the work of five star housebuilder Barratt Homes.
Apprentices from the housebuilder, which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary, have built a brand new community hub for the scouts with the Cullompton Scout Centre officially handed over to the group at a recent opening ceremony.
And the new residents were full of praise for the new facility which can accommodate all 60 members of the group and has room for them to expand in the future.

Thomas Cook Airlines will base an additional Airbus A320 aircraft at Bristol Airport from May 1, 2018 and increase its number of seats on sale from the airport to over 400,000 for the summer 18 season.

East Devon District Council Countryside Team Leader (Sites), James Chubb, has been granted a licence by Natural England to survey nationally protected dormice. The licence will allow the Countryside team to monitor this rare and declining mammal at the council’s nature reserves.
The National Dormouse Monitoring Project, which is co-ordinated by the People’s Trust for Endangered Species, sets a framework for site surveys. After several years of working under the guidance of local mammologist Adrian Bayley, James is now able to undertake dormouse work under licence.
