Caroline Wetton, from Coventry, is appealing for help in locating the rightful owner of over 1,000 photographs believed to belong to someone in Devon.
Caroline was given a bagfull of photographs after they had been found in an old cupboard. Rather than dispose of the photographs she believes they should be returned to their rightful owner.
The photographs date from the early 1900s, through the First World War and to about 1993.

Exeter Axhayes Cats Protection Adoption Centre are looking for volunteers to help out at fundraising/publicity events throughout the year. The Friends of Axhayes Group are a small group of volunteers who meet regularly to arrange fundraising events but they desperately need people to help out at these events.

Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre has launched an appeal for Christmas.
The centre has 200-plus cats and kittens in its care, all looking for new homes. Sadly this means that many cats and kittens have to spend Christmas and New Year in the centre.
This year the Adoption Centre has launch its Santa Paws Appeal.
The idea is a simple one. They are asking that people fill a box, similar in size to a Felix cat food box with cat toys, food, treats, possibly a Christmas card. Then wrap it up and donate it to the centre.

Thirty three children in Devon are currently waiting to be adopted, if adopters were available, says Devon County Council as it launches a campaign to encourage more prospective adopters.
Devon County Council's Devon Adoption service has children ranging in ages from six months to eight years, including sibling groups, waiting for a loving, safe, permanent home.
The service has, this year, cut the length of time it takes to approve adoption applications in a move to make the process simpler, and to encourage more adoptive parents to come forward.
