Police are appealing for witnesses after an aggravated burglary took place in Chudleigh on Friday 1st February.
The burglary is reported to have taken place at a property in Moor View at around 6pm, where the suspect is believed to have been in possession of a knife with an eight-inch blade.
According to a police spokesperson, the suspect is described as white, in his late teens or early 20s, 5ft 10in and of slight build. He was wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up, dark jeans and white shoes. A bum bag, wallet and a small amount of cash were taken.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision in Bradford in which a 12 year old boy died. The incident happened at around 7pm on Saturday 6 October, on Rooley Lane, Bradford when a marked police car stopped a red coloured Seat Ibiza in a lay-by on Rooley Lane for a check. Police and Crime Commissioner Tony Hogg says the latest figures from the Office of National Statistics highlight the need for a fairer approach to central funding of police forces.
Speaking as the Government released its latest national statistics for police performance, Mr Hogg has urged the people of Devon and Cornwall to back his Fair Funding campaign which demands Home Secretary Theresa May revisits the formula she uses to share out money between police forces.
“A reduction in recorded crime does not indicate falling demand on police officers,” said Mr Hogg.
