Police investigating a dangerous driving offence are trying to trace the occupants of a vehicle in Exeter after it may have been reversed into by a car attempting to escape from officers.
A marked police vehicle was rammed by a blue Ford Ka in Holly Road at around 11.30am on Wednesday 30 December.
Officers believe the Ka may have also reversed into a light coloured Peugeot 106 that had a learner plate on the bonnet.

Police in Exmouth are appealing for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault.
The incident occurred at around 1.30am on Sunday 25th October in Exmouth.
The victim, a man aged 23 years was walking in Imperial Road, near to the footpath that leads to Halsdon Road Exmouth (near the foot subway leading to the train station).
He was approached by a number of men who made racist comments and then commenced to assault him by punching him.
The victim ran off but was chased by the offenders who caught up with him in Hartopp Road, and continued to assault him...

Police are seeking witnesses to an assault at an Exeter pub which left a man with serious facial injuries.
The victim, a 25-year-old Exeter man, became involved in an altercation with another man within The Sorry Head pub in Blackboy Road.
He was then struck in the face with a pint glass by the man and suffered serious facial injuries. A female customer was also injured in the face by flying glass.
The male offender was ejected from the pub and ran from the scene.
