Devon and Cornwall Police are working closely with the organisers of a music festival to be held on the Powderham estate, near Exeter, this weekend to ensure a safe and enjoyable event for everyone.
The Lockdown festival, organised by UK Live, runs on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of September.

Police are concerned for the welfare of Christopher Lock, 44, who has been missing from the Newton Abbot area since around 7.30pm on Sunday 4th August 2016. They are appealing for the public’s help in finding him.
He may be in the Dartmoor or Bovey Tracey area but any sightings elsewhere will be very helpful to police.
Christopher is described as white, 44 years old, 5’8’’ to 5’9’’tall, weighting about 12 stone and of medium build. He has short dark brown and grey hair and likely to have facial stubble.

Police in Teignbridge are appealing for information in relation to an incident that occurred at an address in Fore Street, Bovey Tracey on Sunday 28th August 2016, between 10.30pm and 11.00pm.
During the incident the victim, a 31 year-old man, was subjected to a violent assault inside the premises and sustained substantial head injuries which required hospital treatment.
The two male suspects who were dressed in black are believed to have made off along Fore Street, in possession of numerous items of stolen property including mobile phones and a tv. It is possible they left...
On 29th May 2016 almost seventy riders from Devon & Cornwall Police cycled from Exeter to Lands End to raise money for the charity Little Bleeders.
The journey involved over 130 miles of road, with 10,000 feet of climbing.
Organiser for Devon & Cornwall Police, Sergeant Owen Messenger said: “The ride was organised as part of a charity event to raise vital funds for the charity Little Bleeders. We aimed to raise over £5000 and exceeded this massively with a grand total of £8838.02 which was incredible”.

A green Diamondback ‘Remix’ BMX similar to the one pictured was stolen from a back garden in the St. Thomas area of Exeter between 12th and 15th August.

Police are appealing for information relating to a burglary which happened at a rural home near Spreyton, Devon, whilst the occupiers were away on holiday.
The burglary is believed to have taken place between Thursday 14 July and Saturday 16 July 2016.

Police are investigating a burglary which took place at a property on Lonsdale Road, Newton Abbot on Sunday 28th August 2016 at around 2am.
The offender or offenders appear to have been disturbed while inside the dwelling. The items stolen were a black handbag with dark blue Aspinal wallet and a purse inside.
Detective Constable Rich Jones said: “We wish to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard anyone acting suspiciously in the area at this time.

Three people are in police custody following a firearm incident in Devon.
The Exeter-based police helicopter was involved in a search following the incident.
Police were called at around 3.30pm yesterday (Monday 29th August) with reports of gunfire being heard and a vehicle being rammed in the Fore Street area of Torquay.
Police Armed Response Units were called to the scene and one man was discovered to have sustained a number of pellet wounds believed to have been from an air rifle, and was subsequently take to hospital.

Officers set up a cordon and began a search in the Starpitten Grove of Torquay at 11pm yesterday (Monday).
Insp Mark Waldron, force incident manager and tactical firearms commander, told the Torquay Herald Express: "There is an ongoing incident. There has been an allegation of a serious nature in that location. We would ask that anybody who saw anything in that location at about 9.30pm this evening (Monday August 29) should contact us.
