Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following a serious collision between a Honda motorcyle and a Vauxhall Astra on the westbound carriageway of the A30 near Honiton on Friday (31 May) afternoon.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to the driver of a blue car seen in the area at around the time of the collision who may be able to assist the investigation.
The male motorcyclist was treated by paramedics at the scene then airlifted to Derriford Hospital. He remains in a serious condition. The male driver of the Astra was uninjured.

The picture shows a woman walking along Marine Drive near the Redcliffe Hotel in Paignton in the direction of Torquay on Monday 13 May at 8.17pm (it was previously reported that the last sighting had been on Tuesday 14 May). The woman in the photo has been confirmed as being Magdalena.

Devon & Cornwall Police say that they received a call at 1.17am this morning (3 May 2013) reporting that a number of buses were on fire in the Summercourt area of Cornwall. It is thought that at least 37 buses have been deystroyed by fire, a third of bus firm Western Greyhound's fleet, which will impact on the bus service provided in mid-Cornwall. Police in Crediton have issued an ‘Evofit’ of a suspect they wish to identify following two house burglaries in the town. The two incidents occurred between 2.00pm and 3.30pm on Monday 29 April in Clifford Gardens, Crediton. Tributes have been paid to Nick Milligan, the 51-year-old father killed in a tragic speedboat accident in the Camel Estuary near Padstow on Sunday (5 May).
Mr Milligan and his eight-year-old daughter died after they and four other members of their family were thrown out of the boat into the water. They are believed to have been hit by the vessel as it circled the vicinity.
