A Closure Notice has been served today (Monday 3 November) on a ’legal high shop’ in Exeter.
The closure notice was served on The Wicked Head High Shop, located in South Street, Exeter under Section 76 of The Anti-social Behaviour, Crime & Policing Act 2014, new legislation which came into effect on 20 October.
This follows complaints over a sustained period regarding anti-social behaviour, nuisance and disorder by clients attending the premises.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at an Exeter shop. A man ran into the store on Manston Road brandishing a baseball bat and threatened the female member of staff, repeatedly demanding cash. The victim, a woman in her 30s, feared for her safety and handed over £200 cash. The offender, who had his face covered, continued his threats as he left the store, running off up Jubilee Road towards St Annes Road.
