Westpoint Arena opened its doors to 1,400 primary school pupils from across Devon for the third annual Farm Wise event. As part of this hands-on learning approach to agriculture, the children donned wellington boots and rolled up their sleeves to discover how Coastal Recycling transforms ordinary garden waste into free organic compost for farmers. This nutrient rich compost fortifies soil, promoting a fertile environment for crops and therefore plays a vital role in our food chain. THE world's leading darts players will return to the Westpoint Arena in Exeter for the 2016 Betway Premier League on Thursday March 3.
The £700,000 Betway Premier League, televised live on Sky Sports, sees an initial ten-player field competing across four months at 16 arena venues to contest for the prestigious title, which was won by Somerset-based Gary Anderson in May 2015.
The opening nine Thursday nights see the players face each other once in the league phase, with the bottom two players from the league table following Judgment Night being eliminated.
Following a sold out O2 Arena show and headline slots at Latitude Festival, amongst others, alt-J have announced their first full UK tour in support of their acclaimed, number one album This Is All Yours, out now via Infectious Music.

The Exeter based cycling club Exeter Wheelers played an integral part in the filming of the SPACE; a road safety video created by Chris Boardman and BikeBiz editor Carlton Reid.
The video titled SPACE has now gone viral online with over 45,000 views in less than 24 hours aims to educate drivers on how much room a cyclist or group of riders need when overtaking them.
As Boardman points out, riders aren't just an obstacle to be avoided, they are people's loved ones.
