Devon has two emergency Air Ambulances, flying up to midnight every day.
Based in Exeter and North Devon, the aircraft are strategically placed in order to give Devon the best coverage in the shortest amount of time. Over 90% of Devon can be reached within 10 minutes and the remainder of the county within 15 minutes. To date jointly they have flown over 20,800 missions. Should you be ill or injured it is reassuring to know you will receive essential medical treatment as quickly as possible.
Over £5.5 million needs to be raised every year to keep both aircraft flying.
Being independent of Government and National Lottery funding means every single penny of the funds needed come from the support and generosity of the community, businesses and friends of Devon.
