TenPin Exeter and Guide Dogs Have a Bowl!

For the past 8 years, Guide Dogs and TenPin Exeter have collaborated on a very successful fundraising evening. What began as a request for Raffle Prizes for another occasion, has turned into an annual event supported by staff, volunteers, friends & local businesses.

Dog Care & Welfare Advisor, Glenda Webb, and TenPin Manager, Dave Aldridge have combined forces making it not only a great social event but a profitable one, raising money and awareness for the charity. With any luck (and hard work) this year will be no exception! All 22 lanes are already fully booked and the...

Women’s running champions Peg and Pauline to retire

After a combined total of 70 years in running, coaching and supporting women runners, Devon’s Pauline Beare and Peg Wiseman have finally decided that the Women Can Challenges 2019 will mark the end of an era for them.

“Neither one of us is getting any younger and finally qualifying for a state pension should enable us to concentrate on some quality time, being active together while we still can,” said Pauline.

“We will of course continue coaching and running but the demands of planning and delivering programmes and events will end with the last woman who crosses the finish...

If you’re a fan of rhythm and blues and rock n roll, this glorious lineup is a match made in heaven and is not to be missed! The London based band 'The Stoned Crows' will be supporting Dr Feelgood at the Phoenix. The Stoned Crows are an English 1960s inspired Rhythm & Blues band, when R&B was the Rolling Stones not some urban DJs class. All under 21 and breathing fresh air into the music scene, jet rock, exciting, melodic, aggressive and vocals that take you back to the early days of The Doors and The Clash. Determined to commit, with no gadgets.
