Cats and kittens need beauticians help

Exeter Axhayes adoption centre are hoping to hold a charity pamper evening on Friday 17th October 2014 between 7 pm and 10 pm at the Cat & Fiddle pub on Sidmouth Road.

The organisers are looking for beauticians, nail technicians, beauty therapists etc who would be willing to help the cats and kittens in their care by donating small quick treatments to guests in return for a donation to the adoption centre.

Axhayes coffee morning and car boot sale

Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre are holding a coffee morning and car boot sale on Saturday 31 May at their centre, Little Hill cottage, Clyst Honiton.

Coffee will be served between 10am and 2pm and the car boot sale will finish an hour earlier.

There will be a charge of £5 for cars and £7 for vans.

As always the profit goes straight to all the cats and kittens at the Exeter Axhayes Adoption Centre.

Thirty years after leaving school, three old school friends who attended St Wilfrid’s School (class of 1984) in Exeter are reuniting to take part in the famous Scumrun charity rally.

Starting from Brands Hatch on 8 May, Terry Gale, Richard Harris and Paul Stevenson will be covering 3,000 miles in four days in their £500 2.5L Mercedes that already has 205,000 miles on the clock. Devon's Air Ambulances celebrate their independence

Devon’s Air Ambulances recently celebrated becoming truly independent and self-sufficient.
