Newspaper claims cocaine found across Exeter University campus

Exeter University’s student newspaper, Exeposé, says it has discovered cocaine residue across the campus.

Traces of the Class A drug were found in eleven university buildings, some of which were academic and administrative buildings.

The newspaper claims large trace quantities were found in the Physics tower and the Queen’s building, the University’s base for English and Modern Languages.

Almost half of UK graduates and students from the South West (40%) have aspirations to set up their own business after leaving University according to new research from Lloyds TSB Commercial , with many citing excitement and a sense of autonomy as key motivating factors . Furthermore, half of the region’s graduates (50%) and students (50%) who want to start up, hope to do so in the next five years – compared to last year when just over a third (33% and 43% respectively) wanted to start up their own business in a similar time frame.

Three college students are anxiously waiting to hear if they have scooped the first prize in a national photography competition set up to capture the start of the college year and organised by the national FE Week newspaper.

£1.1 Million Lottery boost for College Sport in the SW

Michelin-starred chef Michael Caines has launched a new academy at Exeter College. The Michael Caines Academy, in partnership with City & Guilds, will offer places to eight trainee chefs and eight front-of-house students, aged between 16 and 19. The two-year course begins in September and students will be able to work their way up to the City & Guilds Level 3 Diplomas.
