Members of the Princesshay security team are limbering up for the annual Great West Run in Exeter on 18th October, to raise money for Princesshay’s charity of the year, Age UK Exeter.
David Purse, Princesshay Security Manager, will be leading the team of five through the testing half marathon race. Their aim is to raise £2000 in sponsorship for Age UK Exeter. This donation will help fund services and activities across the city in support of older people in the local community.

Cat fans in Exeter will have a chance to meet some fantastic felines in need of new homes at a special cat rehoming event being held by Blue Cross pet charity on Saturday 17th October at the Isca Centre in Whipton, from noon until 3pm. The Mercure Exeter Southgate underwent a £2.5m re-furbishment earlier this year. The hotel donated 20 television sets, which were previously in rooms, to the Exeter Foundation.
