State of the art toilets are set to be built on Exmouth seafront following the go-ahead from planners last week.

There was a healthy turnout for a voting event held by Budleigh Salterton Town Council for residents to choose their new free-to-use outdoor gym.
The interest shown was impressive, with 139 residents from all age-groups coming along to vote at the late-night shopping event.

Essential geotechnical and environmental investigations will be taking place around, and under, the Mamhead Slipway in Exmouth from Monday 2 December.
This investigation work is expected to last two to three weeks and is necessary as preparation for the longer term replacement or improvement of the slipway, a key project within the Exmouth Vision.

FOLLOWING the Council’s decision in July to relocate, four locations have now been short-listed as the possible home for East Devon District Council’s new offices. The short-list was produced by elected Members scoring the 15 possible sites against a set of desired outcomes (see bulleted tick list below).
Councillors were briefed on the locations – Cranbrook, Skypark, Winslade Park and Heathpark – at the end of October and a stakeholder group heard about the options at a meeting today (Friday 8 November).
